How much does damp proofing cost? +
It depends on the cause and the size of the affected area. A small rising-damp treatment with replastering is very different from full basement waterproofing. Our free survey gives you an honest, fixed-price quote — no guesswork.
Do you charge for the survey? +
A survey carries a small fee, and that fee comes off the cost of any work you decide to go ahead with — so if you use us, the survey is effectively free.
How do I tell rising damp from condensation? +
Rising damp usually shows as a tide mark up to about a metre on ground-floor walls; condensation tends to appear as black mould around windows, in corners and in poorly ventilated rooms. A survey confirms which you have so you don't pay for the wrong fix.
Damp showed up on my homebuyer survey — what now? +
A mortgage or homebuyer survey often flags damp without diagnosing it. We carry out a proper specialist inspection, tell you what's genuinely needed (sometimes far less than feared), and give you a quote you can use in your purchase negotiations.
Do you cover my area? +
We cover Brighton, Hove and across Sussex — including the surrounding towns and villages. If you're nearby, just ask.
